FLORECE CONSULTANTS is a German-Latin American consultant-network dedicated to the implementation and the improvement of social and environmental standards in global supply chains.
FLORECE is the Spanish term for „blooming“. Originally, Florece was born in the context of a Latin American NGO-Network: FLORECE, ?Red Latinoamericana por el Trabajo Digno y el Ambiente Sano? (Latin American Network for Decent Work and Clean Environment). The main purpose of the network was to promote the International Code of Conduct for the Cut Flower Industries. The ICC is our ethical framework for all agro-industries independent from its application in certification-systems as for example:

FLORECE CONSULTANTS work in the following areas:

FLORECE works towards sustainable Supply Chain Management.
FLORECE developed:
- Process Manual for smallholders and SME based on international standards as SA 8.000, the ICC and others,
- According to the process manual we are working with target group and sector specific checklists,
- Training course for internal auditors, ToT,
- Impact analysis matrix (for GTZ Program Office for Social and Environmental Standards),
- Guidelines for Sustainable Tourism developed for GTZ Health and Social Department,
- Auditing and Training in textile/ garments,
- Quality System Management according to ISO 9.001.
FLORECE also promotes the systemic training instruments of the Profitable Environmental Network (www.premanet.net) founded by the GTZ P3U-Triple Win Project Environmental Network:
These instruments are: Good Housekeeping (GHK), Eco Efficiency (EFM), Chemical Management (CM), Profitable Social Management (PSM), Profitable Agro Management (PAM) (GTZ).
