The Asia-Pacific Weeks Berlin will take place from 18 to 29 of May 2015. The event provides a forum for exchange on important themes in the fields of business and politics, research and science, culture and society.

Within the context of the Asia-Pacific Weeks we would like to invite you on 29^th of May 2015 to the workshop

“Municipal partnerships with Asia – North-South-Cooperation for urban climate change adaptation”

The workshop will be jointly implemented by Engagement Global / Service Agency Communities in One World and the Center of Rural Development (SLE) of Humboldt Universität Berlin. It gathers participants from municipal administrations, civil society and academic institutions and aims to give new insights on the challenges of Asian and German cities with regard to climate change. Moreover, participants will get a broader understanding of city-to-city/North-South cooperation and its potentials in the area of climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The workshop will take place on 29^th May 2015 from 10 am to 5 pm in the Humboldt Graduate School in Berlin. For participants coming from outside of Berlin, a reimbursement of travel expenses for journeys within Germany can be offered.
